Pegasus AC runners have been racing in different areas throughout Northern Ireland over the past month putting in good results and representing the local area well as always!

Firstly, big congratulations to Linda Gillen for completing the gruelling Athletics NI 10 Mile Grand Prix series and ending up 2^nd Female Open overall!  This result was just reward for committed training over the past year which has saw Linda improve markedly.  Races took place in Limavady, Portaferry, Ballyclare and finally Armagh.  Well done also to Ralph Thom who also completed the series.

Last week saw the NI and Ulster Even Age Group Championships take place at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown.  The day also incorporated the Bobby Rea Memorial Cross Country race.  Sole Pegasus junior in action (running for Dalriada School) was Neil Johnston who managed an excellent 10^th place out of the 70 Under 16 competitors.  The 5 mile Bobby Rea race saw Jason Wilson and Michael Henry taking their places in the 86 strong field.  Jason achieved 35^th position overall and 6^th Under 20 runner while Michael finished 4^th Vet 50.
